Key responsibilities (title) What you'll be doing day to day

  • Key responsibilities (text) Deliver an excellent experience to call center customers by creating, presenting and selling relevant, functional, aesthetic and commercial furnishing solutions that contribute to positioning the IKEA brand in the local market as the leader in life at home and business.
  • Provide high quality interior design support in all remote channels, including live video calls, to secure a great customer experience for both Business to Customer (B2C) and Business to Business (B2B) customers
  • Capture, by actively listening, key customer needs and desires, including budget frame, and translate them into relevant, functional, aesthetic, commercial and tailor-made interior design solutions thus exceeding customer expectations
  • Create solutions that take all aspects of the design, e.g. function, architectural elements, scale, color, material, shape, form, ergonomics, lighting and sustainability into consideration, demonstrating a holistic approach and reflecting interior design the IKEA way
  • Lead the planning process from start to end in close cooperation with the customer in order to secure a proactive selling approach as well as follow up on possible improvement needs, thus building trust in the IKEA brand
  • Apply a commercial approach in every customer contact to maximize sales
  • Present interior design solutions using global tools and best practices to secure high quality, simplicity, efficiency and cost consciousness

  • Local section (text) • Bachelors degree in Interior Design
  • Minimum 1 year of experience from working in remote sales and/or customer service
  • Minimum 3 years of experience from working with interior design both B2C and B2B
  • Knowledge of all aspects of interior design, (e.g. functionality, space, layout, ergonomics, architecture, style, materials, sustainability etc) with special focus on local societal trends
  • Understanding of relevant local rules, laws and regulations for both public spaces and homes
