<h2>Overview</h2> <p><strong>Role:  Technical Project Manager</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Location: U.S. Remote</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Compensation: $80K-100K/yr DOE</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>*Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a highly skilled, driven, and motivated Technical Project Manager to work directly with New American Funding’s Initiative Management Office team. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with talented individuals to achieve and develop new goals and ultimately reach new levels of success.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, well-versed in various project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, and Lean principles, and capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously. Key responsibilities include overseeing teams, planning and executing projects to meet business goals, creating project plans, tracking progress, communicating with stakeholders, and removing obstacles to ensure team success, all while maintaining a positive attitude.</p> <p>This position is part of the Initiative Management Office (iMO) within NAF, the central hub for overseeing projects and programs aligned with the company’s strategic goals. The iMO, composed of Project/Program Management, Organizational Change Management, and Business Analysis, engages directly with high-level stakeholders to ensure effective initiative execution and adoption. iMO’s focus is primarily on strategic alignment that maximizes business benefits and stakeholder returns, driving the company towards its key objectives.</p> <p> </p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <p><strong>Work Experience:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of multiple projects.• Drive cross-functional teams.• Lead agile teams to achieve goals and high level of performance.• Management of all agile project team activities and promote Agile mindset.• Facilitate meetings including preparing agendas, scheduling, materials needed, meeting minutes, follow-up or action items and distributing said documentation.• Manage resources and capacity planning.• Monitor project workflow and make timeline adjustments as needed.• Oversee development and project metrics.• Coordinate with stakeholder’s project or initiative approval, priorities and roadmap, forecasting and preparing workload, backlog grooming and change management.• Proactively work with associated teams to manage dependencies, integrations and testing activities• Make vital decisions and/or escalate issues and drive/follow-up on decision making process across projects.• Reporting to management on project status.• Plan, schedule and execute releases and manage risks and dependencies with other projects.• Required to perform duties outside of normal work hours based on business needs and release schedule</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p><strong>Required Skills and Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with mortgage servicing or data engineering preferred</li> <li>Strong knowledge of Project Management, Scrum theory, rules and practices</li> <li>Experience in estimation and planning and implementing Agile/Scrum.</li> <li>Experience facilitating Agile Ceremonies.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail.</li> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, detail oriented, proactive and can be self-directed.</li> <li>Ability to identify, manage, track and drive action items.</li> <li>Ability to deal with ambiguous information and situations.</li> <li>Risk management and obstacle remediation.</li> <li>Experience using Agile tools such Azure DevOps, MS Teams</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education Needed:</strong></p> <ul> <li>PMP or Project Management Certification or 3-5 years’ experience working with multiple projects across multiple teams in an Agile environment.</li> <li>Mortgage experience a plus</li> <li>Scrum Master Certification a plus.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Other Duties:</strong></p> <p>This job profile is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of job duties and responsibilities, as one may perform additional related duties as assigned in order to meet the needs of the organization.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range.
