You will be responsible for new business growth in the mid-tier dealer groups from a group level.  Your territory will consist of a predetermined list of targetable dealer groups.  You will execute a top-down strategy to drive new business growth through group-level relationships.<br> </p><p>You will need to work seamlessly with your Business Development and Dealer Relations peers to build and nurture growth within the mid-tier dealer groups in your territory. The ability to align team objectives, stay adaptable in changing market conditions, and build cross-functional collaboration with your peers will be critical to success.<br> </p><p><b>Role and Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>Develop a customer acquisition and account management plan to penetrate new mid-tier dealer group market segment; determine clear lines of ownership and responsibility for partnering with individual Business Development Managers.</p></li><li><p>Establish strong group-level relationships at group leadership level to drive top-down growth strategy.</p></li><li><p>Develop a detailed understanding of organizational structure, ongoing group priorities and key measurement of success.</p></li><li><p>Maintain client relationships to increase retention and create new business opportunities.</p></li><li><p>Build a pipeline of forecasted opportunities to meet monthly, quarterly and annual quota objectives.</p></li><li><p>Establish strong internal communication to collaborate with the existing sales and account management teams.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with fellow mid-tier sales colleagues and Mastermind leadership to continue to develop best practices and ongoing strategy for increasing dealer group adoption.<br> </p></li></ul><p><b>Professional Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><p>7+ years SaaS sales experience, with particular experience in Enterprise and new business sales.</p></li><li><p>Previous success with complex sales involving multiple decision makers and sales cycles of 6+ months.</p></li><li><p>Experience developing and delivering presentations for Executive levels within dealer groups.</p></li><li><p>Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of organizations.</p></li><li><p>Experience working with financial and data analytics for measuring dealer performance.</p></li><li><p>Good working knowledge of partner ecosystem within Automotive space.</p></li><li><p>Experience working with dealer groups within assigned region.<br> </p></li></ul><p>The Strategic Development Manager will report into the VP of Sales.  This role requires as much as 80% travel within the region and nationally as needed. Residence near a major airport may be required (dependent upon territory). A valid driver’s license is required to perform the role.</p><p></p><p>S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $130,000.
