By building strong client relationships, collaborating with suppliers, and executing targeted sales strategies, you will grow and retain accounts while generating sustainable revenue.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p>Manage a portfolio of non-healthcare customers, including hospitality and Fortune 1000 accounts, with a focus on retention, relationship development, and revenue growth.</p></li><li><p>Assess client needs, conduct market research and analysis, and provide strategic insights to align products and services with business objectives.</p></li><li><p>Conduct regular business reviews and strategic planning sessions with key decision-makers to align on goals, assess performance, and uncover growth opportunities.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with supplier and distribution partners to deliver tailored, value-driven solutions and identify cost-saving opportunities.</p></li><li><p>Facilitate joint sales calls and onboarding processes with supply partners to ensure smooth implementation and a strong early-stage customer experience.</p></li><li><p>Promote and support adoption of programs and solutions that maximize value for non-healthcare members across industries.</p></li><li><p>Maintain detailed sales and account activity in Salesforce.com, ensuring visibility into pipeline activity and accurate revenue forecasting.</p></li><li><p>Partner with Sourcing teams to develop and execute account strategies that deepen engagement, increase loyalty, and grow share of wallet within existing accounts.</p></li><li><p>Support new member acquisition efforts as needed, while prioritizing account management and expansion within the existing customer base.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><p>Relevant degree preferred.</p></li><li><p>5+ years of relevant experience in account management, sales, or customer-facing roles required. Experience with group purchasing organizations or supply chain processes a plus.</p></li><li><p>Background in selling to non-healthcare markets—particularly in business, hospitality, or corporate environments.</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to manage and grow strategic accounts through consultative selling, relationship development, and solution-based approaches.</p></li><li><p>Exceptional communication with the ability to engage C-suite and executive stakeholders, clearly articulating ROI, strategic value, and measurable outcomes from complex engagements.</p></li><li><p>The ability to provide value storytelling by translating complex engagements into clear narratives to highlight operational improvements, organizational impact, and progress against strategic goals.</p></li><li><p>Ability to travel regularly throughout the year to support client relationships and business objectives.</p></li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><u><b>Estimated Hiring Range:</b></u></p>At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances.
