The ideal candidate will be responsible for the integration, configuration, and management of Vault in enterprise cloud environments, supporting secure secrets management and access control across multiple platforms. This role requires strong experience in both Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure, with the ability to navigate complex, multi-cloud environments and support automated deployment and operational processes. The engineer will ensure alignment with internal standards and compliance requirements, collaborating with teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Administer, configure, and maintain HashiCorp Vault for secure secrets management across Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.</li><li>Integrate Vault with enterprise cloud workloads, ensuring robust access control and compliance with Humana's security standards.</li><li>Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to support infrastructure management and operational efficiency, using PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Bash.</li><li>Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of cloud-based servers and services, ensuring reliability and scalability in multi-cloud settings.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and enhance secure cloud architectures, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Monitor, identify, and remediate cybersecurity issues and opportunities, in alignment with Humana's IT/Cyber IOP policies</li><li>Ensure accurate documentation and compliance for technology lifecycle management, including decommission requests as required</li><li>Provide regular updates, evidence of remediation, and participate in closure reviews of IT/Cyber IOPs.</li></ul><h1><br><b>Use your skills to make an impact </b><br> </h1><p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent years of experience.</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform services.</li><li>Minimum three years of hands-on experience administering HashiCorp Vault in enterprise cloud environments.</li><li>Experience installing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based servers and services.</li><li>Proficiency in automation and scripting with at least one of the following: PowerShell, Python, Ruby, Bash.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Agile and solutions-oriented mindset.</li></ul><p><b>Preferred Skills</b></p><ul><li>Experience architecting, building, and supporting Azure and GCP solutions in enterprise environments.</li><li>Working knowledge of Terraform, GitHub Workflows, and Kubernetes.</li><li>Familiarity with Humana's compliance standards, including IT/Cyber IOP processes and Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM).</li><li>Ability to proactively identify and resolve security gaps and support operational excellence in multi-cloud deployments.</li><li>Experience collaborating on cross-functional security and cloud projects.</li></ul><p>Remote/WAH requirements:</p><ul><li>WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office.
