Summary<br><p>We are seeking a Senior Business/Data Analyst Contractor with SAP and Cloud-Data experience who will be responsible for eliciting business needs, performing detailed analysis and documentation, modeling processes, evaluating impacts, prioritizing business requests, and partnering with project teams to ensure the successful delivery of new Cloud-Data Lake capabilities in support of various applications.</p><br>Key Responsibilities<br><ul><li>Solve complex business problems utilizing business process redesign and cloud computing technologies.</li><li>Assess AS-IS processes and develop new processes and/or business flows to leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) capabilities of Software-As-A-Service (SAAS).</li><li>Consult with the data engineering team and functional unit owners (Finance, Sales, Supply Chain) and document a gap analysis of capabilities, requirements and needs against technology.</li><li>Maintain deep understanding of the business process in FICO (Finance), MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales), and PP (Production Planning).</li><li>Apply business process re-engineering methodologies for systems modernization.</li><li>Develop new standard operating procedures documentation and a handbook for Data Lake.</li><li>Prepare and present findings, recommendations, new operating models, and new workflows in consultation with the data engineering team.</li><li>Create methodology to measure process performance against established metrics.</li><li>Complete assignments with the ability to work on 1–3 projects simultaneously.</li><li>Understand business needs and requests, identify solutions, gather information, and translate business needs into documented artifacts that are understandable to business and IT personnel alike.</li><li>Work with business users to analyze processes and system issues and turn them into actionable system changes that benefit the requesting party(s), improve efficiency in operations and overall performance.</li><li>Collaborate with project teams and business partners during project planning, incremental software delivery reviews, and User Acceptance testing to ensure the software has been implemented based on specifications.</li></ul><br>Education Requirements<br><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related majors</li><li>Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification (preferred)</li></ul><br>Required Experience<br><ul><li>Minimum 5–7 years of progressive hands-on <strong>SAP techno-functional experience</strong> with strong understanding of SAP datasets like Sales, Purchasing, Material management, and Integrated Business Planning (IBP)</li><li>10 years of IT experience, preferably in enterprise Business-to-Business durable goods, construction, or building materials manufacturing</li><li>10 years of experience in systems analysis, data analysis and design with proven record of successful large scale project implementations</li><li>Ability to direct the team to map SAP datasets in a non-SAP cloud platform (e.g., for Sales Datasets—modeling of Sales Orders with Invoices, shipment, Master data, etc.)</li><li>Responsibility for writing the functional specifications of the data sets created</li><li>Liaison with the SAP ERP team to bridge the functional needs
