The Tax

Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Tax Department. The role involves managing various tasks related to tax document processing, client communication and internal procedures.

Key responsibilities include: · Assembly, processing & delivery of tax documents (paper & efle) · Organize, scan, and process tax -related paperwork efficiently · Send Tax Summary to clients · Manage status of tax finalization progress · Assist the billing department with collection of tax preparation invoices · Manage the scan & autoflow process for client documents used by tax preparers · Manage the mail for incoming client tax documents · Manage office calendar · Send client engagement letters · Send Client Tax Authorization forms via DocuSign · Manage responses from clients regarding tax filing, tax status and ensuring timely and effective communication · Field all client communication regarding signing process & other tax related questions as needed · Manage Admin email, files received via client portal, signed documents, tax rejections, acceptance and assist tax team with extensions. · Assist with various tasks when required including preparing/filing/assisting with filing of: SOIs, 1099s, City of LA, WC & Liab audits, State SOS Renewals · Provide support to the CEO · Serve as backup to the Front Desk Administrator and Billing Manager as needed Qualifications: · Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information confidentially · Microsoft Office Suite required (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc) · 1-3 years tax office experience · Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with the team · Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment, particularly during tax season.
