## Phlebotomist PRN/Casual — Wichita, KS Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist PRN/Casual to join our team in Wichita, KS. This is a casual/per diem position; hours will be as needed. Start and end times will vary from Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 6:00 pm, and weekends. You may be asked to travel to additional sites when needed and may work in either a Patient Service Center or a Client office. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups and collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Accurate and timely data entry of patient information is required, as is processing billing information and collecting payments when required. You will prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis, maintain patient and specimen information logs, and provide superior customer service to all patients. Administrative and clerical duties are necessary as part of the role. Preferred qualifications include Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional Job Standards: In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency. Able to pass a standardized color blindness test. Strong communication skills; both written and verbal. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work independently or in a team environment and be comfortable working under minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
