Front Desk Receptionist

Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Family Foot & Ankle Specialists, a division of US Foot & Ankle Specialist, is seeking a friendly, dependable, and patient-focused Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our busy podiatry clinic! This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping patients, staying organized, and working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

We offer hands-on training, a supportive team environment, and opportunities for growth within a growing podiatry practice.


Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
  • Greet and check in patients for appointments
  • Answer phones and assist with scheduling and patient questions
  • Verify insurance and update patient demographics
  • Collect copays, balances, and patient payments
  • Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system
  • Assist with referrals, authorizations, and appointment confirmations
  • Support providers and staff to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Deliver excellent customer service to patients and visitors
Required Skills and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Medical front desk or healthcare office experience preferred
  • Podiatry, orthopedic, or specialty clinic experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills required
  • Experience with EMR/EHR systems preferred
  • Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
