We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join our team for a high-priority, 2-month project with the strong potential for extension. This role is ideal for a junior accounting professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong foundational knowledge of cash and accrual accounting.

As an agency partner, we are looking for a candidate who is ready to hit the ground running, applying their expertise to deliver accurate financial reporting for a diverse portfolio of clients and properties.

Job Description
The Finance Analyst will serve as a critical pillar of support for the Accounting & Finance department. Your primary objective is to maintain the integrity of financial data by ensuring that all property-related expenses and vendor transactions are processed with 100% accuracy. This position is fully remote, offering you the flexibility to manage your deliverables from your home office while staying integrated with the team through virtual collaboration.

Responsibilities
Accounts Payable Management: Review and accurately code invoices; prepare and submit upload files for final approval.

Software Oversight: Utilize JD Edwards (JDE) to check invoice statuses and track real-time financial data.

Inquiry Management: Act as the primary point of contact for the generic mailbox, responding promptly to client and vendor inquiries regarding payments and billing.

Reporting Support: Apply basic cash and accrual accounting fundamentals to help prepare and deliver complete financial reports.

Administrative Excellence: Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks and monitor email communications to ensure no vendor or client request goes unanswered.

Qualifications
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in an accounting or finance-focused role.

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Software Skills: * Proficiency in JD Edwards (JDE) is a significant asset.

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas).

Professional experience with Microsoft Outlook and general computer functions.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for managing vendor and client relations.
