As a Freelance Online Swedish Teacher at Busuu, you’ll play a key role in helping students learn Swedish effectively and confidently. On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will likely include: Planning, preparing, and teaching online lessons (45 minutes each) for corporate clients. 1:1 Lessons: Deliver private lessons that include both language teaching and personalised coaching - conducting needs analyses, assessing levels, creating bespoke learning paths, checking progress during lesson time, and setting clear goals. What we’re looking for in a Freelance Online Language Teacher: C2 Level of Swedish Valid teaching certificate such as TEFL/CELTA or related university degrees Experience in online teaching and providing 1:1 coaching or personalised learning support Fluency in additional languages: B1 or above in English Bonus: Speaking more than two languages Comfortable teaching: presentation skills, negotiations, business email etiquette, meeting management, multicultural communication, etc. Excellent communication skills to engage and teach students High-Speed Internet, Modern Laptop / PC with a microphone and camera Must comply with local freelance/contractor regulations What are the terms of this freelance role? $22 paid per lesson taught Remote position Freedom to set your own schedule Access to Busuu Premium, to continue your own language learning Opportunity to interact with and teach students from around the world Valuable teaching experience with one of the industry’s leading companies What happens next?
