Content Marketing Specialist

Summary:

The Content Marketing Manager is responsible for implementing Omni’s marketing and communication strategies across multiple platforms to support proprietary and private label lubricant portfolios. This hands-on role partners closely with the Category Manager to drive brand growth, customer engagement, and market expansion initiatives. The position requires strong product management capabilities, creative execution skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional projects that deliver measurable, customer-centric results.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with Omni’s product portfolio and growth objectives.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the lubricant market, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
  • Design and produce marketing materials including print and digital collateral, event graphics, presentations, email campaigns, and social media assets.
  • Execute marketing concepts across multiple platforms, including websites, social media, trade shows, customer memberships, and industry events.
  • Plan, coordinate, and support customer engagement initiatives, programs, and trade shows.
  • Collaborate with customers to support Private Label marketing programs, providing data-driven recommendations and best practices.
  • Support the positioning and growth of Omni’s Proprietary Brands across domestic and international markets.
  • Ensure all creative work aligns with Omni brand standards and visual identity guidelines.
  • Develop, maintain, and defend Omni’s brand standards to ensure continuity and alignment across all marketing efforts.
  • Project manage multiple marketing initiatives simultaneously, balancing self-directed projects and leadership-requested assignments.
  • Support ongoing marketing campaigns, special initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Adapt strategies proactively in response to evolving market conditions and business priorities.
  • Perform additional duties and strategic initiatives as assigned by the Category Manager in support of portfolio growth and business objectives.

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing principles, preferably within manufacturing or industrial markets.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze marketing data and apply insights to strategy.
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong collaboration skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing, graphic design, or related roles.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, particularly with Private Label and Proprietary product lines.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
  • Ability to attend trade shows and marketing events, which may require travel.
  • Ability to lift marketing materials and event supplies up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasional extended hours during major marketing campaigns or events.
