This role will also actively contribute to Corporate Initiatives including, but not limited to, training development and delivery, data analytics, trend identification and reporting.</p><p></p><p><b>How you will do it: </b></p><ul><li><p>Development of master project schedules</p></li><li><p>Development of detailed construction schedules</p></li><li><p>Data entry of activities, durations, and sequences (predecessors / successors) into MS Project</p></li><li><p>Schedule updating process – collecting progress and incorporating into scheduling software</p></li><li><p>Reporting – Preparing schedule update reports and graphics per Contract requirements</p></li><li><p>Schedule <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">analysis: Developing</span> and analyzing the impact issues have on the project schedule. Collecting scheduling metrics and creating spreadsheets / databases to interpret and visualize the data</p></li><li><p>Understand and implement accepted Planning & Scheduling Best Practices </p></li><li><p>Technical Review – Reviewing the project schedule’s quality and performance</p></li><li><p>Analyze drawings, specifications, and statements of work in the preparation and acceptance of usable Baseline schedules for construction</p></li><li><p>Monitor multiple project schedules and update Operations staff and provide guidance as necessary</p></li><li><p>Interact with the Operations team and represent Johnson Controls, Inc. and its partners in the best manner to owners, subcontractors, and their representatives</p></li><li><p>Development of conceptual bid and proposal schedules with executive management and present to selection committees if required</p></li><li><p>Effectively cost and manpower load schedules for use during the execution of the project</p></li><li><p>Evaluate the actual construction status relative to proposed plan</p></li><li><p>Analyze and communicate the impact of changes to the schedule</p></li><li><p>Prepare Time Impact Analyses per recommended practices by commonly accepted standards</p></li><li><p>Develop and deliver specialized Planning and Scheduling training for Johnson Controls, Inc.</p></li><li><p>Critique, create, and recommend improvements to departmental policies and procedures</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we look for: </b></p><ul><li><p>Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related discipline preferred</p></li><li><p>3+ years scheduling experience on commercial construction projects</p></li><li><p>Working proficiency in MS Project software</p></li><li><p>Proven success implementing strategic initiatives</p></li><li><p>Detail oriented and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance</p></li><li><p>Skilled at developing and maintaining relationships with owners, subcontractors, senior leaders and project teams</p></li><li><p>High degree of initiative, personal responsibility, and integrity</p></li><li><p>Working proficiency in MS Project software</p></li><li><p>Alignment to Johnson Controls, Inc.
