In addition, this post also attracts a Market Forces Supplement of up to £9,000 per annum. The City Corporation also provides services to London and the nation as a whole, and is a major sponsor of the arts.<br>We are offering an exciting and unique opportunity in the Parliamentary team of the City Remembrancer’s Office for a qualified barrister or solicitor with relevant post‑qualification experience.<br>The City Remembrancer is one of the City’s Law Officers, its Parliamentary Agent and advises on a wide range of parliamentary matters that may affect the City Corporation and associated bodies. The post-holder will work as a member of the Parliamentary team, providing advice on constitutional matters affecting the Corporation or the City, assisting in the promotion of any Private Bills the Corporation is bringing forward, advising on parliamentary and legislative matters which may affect the interests of the City, and advising on legislative proposals and the formulation of legislation from the point of view of the interests of the City Corporation (including its institutions) and the City of London.<br>The Remembrancer’s Parliamentary Team is a high performing and supportive team, with an outstanding reputation within the Corporation and with our external stakeholders.
